Lift installation and preparation for operation
The process of installing the lift and preparing it for operation are important stages that guarantee safe and efficient operation of the equipment. Proper installation and compliance with the recommendations ensure the reliability and durability of the lift.
Requirements for the base:
To ensure stability and safe operation of the lift, it is necessary to prepare the correct base:
Solid screed: Concrete screed with a thickness of at least 35 cm for the entire area of the car service.
Local foundations: In cases where the screed is not provided for the entire area, it is necessary to make concrete cubes measuring 1m x 1m x 1 m under the lift supports.
Installation stages:
Site preparation:
Checking the compliance of the base with the requirements.
Marking the attachment points according to the technical parameters of the lift.
Construction installation:
Assembling the racks, crossbars and other components according to the instructions.
Fixing the lift supports using anchor bolts in the prepared concrete base.
Connecting the systems:
Connecting the hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical systems (depending on the lift model).
Checking the tightness of the connections and the stability of the power supply.
Calibration:
Setting the synchronization of the lifting mechanisms.
Testing the safety locking system and adjusting the height of the lifting supports.
Preparation for work:
Installation quality control: All fasteners must be firmly fixed.
Test run: Carrying out several lifting and lowering cycles without load to check the operability.
Personnel training: Conducting safety briefings and correct use of the equipment.
Summary:
A correct base and professional installation are the key to safe and long-term operation of the lift. Compliance with technical recommendations for installation and regular maintenance of the equipment increase the efficiency of the car service and the safety of car servicing.
