The Finn-Power P16HP is a lightweight manual hydraulic press weighing 26 kg (57 lbs), specifically designed for mobile workshops and non-serial crimping of high-pressure hydraulic hoses. The machine's design is focused on repairing the most common hose types in environments where no electrical power is available. This also makes it safe for use in fire-hazardous conditions, as the absence of an electrical power supply completely eliminates the risk of sparking.
This model has a long production history and has proven to be extremely reliable equipment with a long service life, even in demanding field conditions such as forestry, mountain ranges, or underground mining. The machine does not require complex staff training due to its simple and intuitive micrometric system for setting the crimping size. The required diameter is set using a 10-turn vernier dial, where one full turn changes the diameter by 1 mm, and one scale division corresponds to a 0.1 mm increment. The crimping process is monitored by a bright red LED indicator: once it lights up, manual pumping must stop, as the fitting has been fully pressed into the hose.
It should be noted that the H 16 HP machine has certain limitations: it is not intended for serial production or for crimping heavy-duty 4SP and 4SH hoses. The maximum hose size for comfortable operation is 1" 2SN, and in exceptional cases, it can crimp a 3/4" 4SP hose, which is the technical limit for this press's seals. The equipment is delivered fully filled with oil, calibrated, and ready for immediate operation.
