Mechanized tools stationary and portable screwdrivers - used for unscrewing nuts and bolts. Portable wrenches are divided into electric, pneumatic and hydraulic. Electric and pneumatic portable tools are the most widely used in car repair. The use of a mechanized tool increases labor productivity during the disassembly of threaded connections by 3-5 times and facilitates the unscrewing of nuts with clogged or corroded threads.
Electric wrenches are mostly made with a one-inch (1”) footprint. Main working elements: electric motor, flywheel and shock mechanism. The entire structure has large dimensions and weight, so it is mounted on a rolling cart with large handles for control. The electric motor spins the flywheel through the belt drive, then the force is transmitted to the shaft through the impact mechanism.
